Whanau Hotaka program seeks to address the lack of financial literacy among whanau in the Papakura and wider South Auckland community by providing a 12-week free financial literacy course. Many whanau in our community struggle with managing their finances effectively, leading to increased debt, financial stress, and limited opportunities for personal and economic growth. This is a ten week course that we run once a school term, Tuesday nights. (Food is provided).

Our Whanau Hotaka Programme Consists of Three Modules:
Module 1: Money Smart Confidence Course
To equip participants with the foundational knowledge and tools required to manage personal finances, make informed decisions and plan for the future.
Module 2: First Home Buyer Course
To guide potential homeowners through the intricacies of the home-buying process, and familiarize them with government initiatives that can help. Topics covered such as home buying process, Kainga Ora First Home Buyer Initiatives, Gathering a Deposit and more.
Module 3: Introduction to Business
To lay a comprehensive groundwork for aspiring entrepreneurs in starting and operating a successful business. Topics covered such as bringing your ideas to life, Market Research, Brand Creation, Registering with IRD and more.

Wahine Power is focussed on mentoring and empowering wahine mā of all ages and background. In this safe space, we believe in holistically, discussing all things hauora, wairua, work, aspirations and across the board to ensure that woman can reach there full potential. We are hear to uplift and support wahine mā.
Empowering girls from 15 to 18 who face social anxiety, depression, self abuse and esteem issues
We have had the privilege of working with 30 young wahine in this programme and we are excited to see them flourish."
Our wahine are the future, we are called to invest into our Maori girls that are diamonds in the rough. Future Wahine is a transformative course designed to empower and encourage wahine aged between 10-24 who are struggling with social anxiety, depression, self-image issues, low self-esteem, and over weight problems.
We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for Maori girls to flourish. We provide the tools and resources to help girls overcome their challenges and build confidence, worshops that will include mental-health and mindfulness, body positivity, self-care, leadership and hardwork, healthy habits for physical and emotional well-being.

We have done over 300 activation fitness boot camps for Papakura.
FREE ongoing boot camps in partnership with OTB Health Club. Exercises are designed for all fitness levels. We encourage you to bring the whole whanau. This was all made possible by the ongoing support from the Papakura Local Board.

Monday to Friday Papakura, Takanini and Manurewa Entry level fitness
An at risk youth juveniles rehabilitation to society 16 week course.
This programme is to provide mentorship and guidance to violent offender youth in Papakura, Auckland to help them with better decisions and positive changes in their lives.
Our sixteen week programme will include helping youth build self-awareness, effective communication, self-confidence, goal setting and planning, career/ education planning and pathways, healthy lifestyle, community interaction and engagement.
